Privacy information

Who is responsible

The controller for any personal data processed in connection with temposcoselectscout.com is the site's administrator. You can reach the site's administrator through the contact page or the email address shown in the footer.

What the site does not do

temposcoselectscout.com is an information website. It has no user accounts, no logins, no payments and no comment or submission features. It does not use analytics tools, advertising trackers, social media plugins or similar third-party scripts. It sets no cookies and uses no browser storage; see the cookie information for details.

This does not mean that no personal data is ever processed. Some processing happens whenever a website is visited, as described below.

The contact draft tool

The contact page includes a tool that helps you write a note. It works only in your browser's memory. The text you type is not sent to the site, not stored on a server and not saved in your browser. It disappears when you reset the form, close the page or reload it.

The text only leaves the page if you choose to copy it or download it as a file. What you then do with it, for example pasting it into an email, is up to you. Please do not include personal or health details in a note.

Hosting and technical logs

Like any website, this site is delivered by a hosting service. When you visit, your browser sends technical information such as your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, and your browser and device type. The hosting service may keep this information in access logs for purposes such as security, error handling and keeping the service running. These logs are not used to build profiles of visitors.

Email

If you choose to write to the email address in the footer, the site's administrator will receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. This information is used only to read and, where appropriate, respond to your message, and is not used for marketing.

External links

Some pages may link to other websites. Those sites are run independently and have their own privacy practices. Once you follow a link, this privacy information no longer applies, so please read the policies of the sites you visit.

Your rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights over your personal data. These generally include the right to ask for access to it, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable form. To use these rights, contact the site's administrator through the contact page.

You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. In the United Kingdom, this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). If you live elsewhere, you can contact the competent data protection authority in your country.

Changes to this information

If the way the site works changes, for example if a new tool or service is added, this privacy information will be updated before the change takes effect.
